Israel’s Channel 13 has acknowledged that about 170 rockets were fired from Lebanon on northern Israel since Friday morning.

Hezbollah said the rocket fire “is in direct response to the large attack that we saw, the air strikes, last night on various Hezbollah weapons depots in southern Lebanon,” Al Jazeera’s Dorsa Jabbari reported from Beirut.
